    Default coming in

    Dear all,

What is the meaning of "coming in" in:

"BEING AN ATHLETE AND COMING IN, I CAN IMAGINE IT ALREADY GOING TO BE A VERY BEAUTIFUL SETTING FOR THE OPENING AND CLOSING CEREMONY. "

That was said by a free-skier as he having a look at the place of the opening and closing ceremony.

    Thanks a lot.

Not a teacher only a native.

The athlete is talking about the act of entering the stadium for the opening and closing ceremonies. When the athletes enter the stadium waving their flags to a stadium full of cheering people.

Do you mean as if he's saying "When I enter the place as an athlete"?

    Thanks.
