What's the difference between puzzle about and wonder about?

puzzled over/ about sth: to think hard about sth in order to to understand or explain it

puzzled over/ about sth: to think hard about sth in order to to understand or explain it

Usually it's "to be puzzled about" or "to puzzle over". A. "wondered" is correct.
