Is the use of the plural form correct in this case, please? :

"I'm on holiday in August. That's the only holidays I have during the year. "

In BrE, at least, it would be "I'm (or I'll be) on holiday in August. That's the only holiday I have booked this year."

In AmE, just substitute "vacation" (singular) for "holiday(s)" in both sentences.
