Hello there,

How do I write and how do I pronounce the phrase : "A unified architecture...."

A unified seems correct to me, but according to grammar rules shouldn't this be "An unified" because u is a vowel?

thanks

"U" in "unified" is pronounced like "you", that is /ju:/. The sound /j/ is a consonant, so we say "a unified architecture", not "an".
