    to be late "to do" / "doing" something

    1. to be late to do something
    2. to be late doing something
    Are both correct? Do they mean the same thing?

    Either form could be used with the same meaning in the examples you posted. AND I would be very careful of any relationship with Ronald Rohde's roommate.
