1. I am searching for (or I am researching) the differences between "when", "while" and "as".

2. I am Googling the differences between "when", "while" and "as".

3. I am browsing [STRIKE]through[/STRIKE] the internet to [STRIKE]search[/STRIKE] find the differences between "when", "while" and "as".

Sometimes they are, sometimes they're not! "Searching the net" and "browsing the net" are very similar although we're far more likely to say "surfing the net" than "searching".
"Searching" suggests you are looking for something specific.
"Browsing" suggests that you are mindlessly going from one website to another in your free time because you have nothing better to do!
You might use "I'm searching on the internet for a recipe for cupcakes".
"Googling" (must always have a capital letter as it's a brand name) is quite specific. If you're Googling, then you are using the search engine Google to find information.

I'm trying to find out the difference between "when", "while" and "as" by using the net.
I'm surfing the net for the difference between "when", "while" and "as".
I'm Googling "when", "while" and "as" to see if I can find out the difference between them.

Many people in Britain do not vacuum their carpet, they hoover it. Despite the fact that Hoover is the trade mark of a manufacturer of vacuum cleaners, the word has become used as a generic noun and verb, I have even heard people say, "I have bought a new Electrolux hoover." This is an example of trademark erosion - Wiktionary.
Many companies are unhappy about the erosion of their brand name, but they can do little about it.

You can read more about this here: Genericized trademark - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

They do? I guess I should stop correcting it to capitalised on these threads!

Too true! I do both. OK, I google a lot more than I hoover.
The problem with these is that once they become part of everyday language they look weird capitalised. It's like Brussels sprouts: even dictionaries write it lowercased.
