Now to reveal the depths of my ignorance. How do I delete browser cookies?

Later. Ignoe that - I followed my own impatient advice to people asking questions in 'Ask a Teacher' to which they could find out the answers themselves. I googled it, followed the instructions, and have now disbled UE cookies. I'll report back.

    Thank you.

Hmm, I'm not sure how to take that, especially since Red Six died: Red Six - Wookieepedia, the Star Wars Wiki ;)

Yikes, no, don't disable cookies - they are required. The site uses them to keep you logged in between posts amongst other useful things.

The easy way: Here's how to delete all of your cookies: How to delete cookies

Harder: Ideally you will want to delete cookies only from UsingEnglish.com so you don't lose information about other sites. Here's how to delete cookies from only one domain: 4 Ways to Clear Browser Cookies for Just One Site Optimize It!

My ignorance again. I meant 'delete' - which I did, having found this place:

The problem appears to have disappeared. Thanks for your help.

@Tdol - Forget what I wrote about a hunt for Red6 I think we'll stick with this one. At least, until he decides to have another birthday.
