    a) arrived b) has arrived c) will arrive d) had arrived

    Please try to give your thread a helpful title. 'Before the train arrives/arrive?' would have given us an idea of what to expect.

    In temporal (time) clauses introduced by such words as when, before, after, etc, we use a present tense. In your example, both arrives (present simple) and has arrived (present perfect) are possible. As the first is not given as an option, the second is the one you want.
