Please answer my following question!
What are the differences between "tip" and "trick"?
I'd like to ask about their meaning "an effective way of doing something", e.g. what are the differences between two sentences: "I'll give you some tips" and "I'll give you some tricks".
Thanks in advance!
It would have been much better to post that question here:Two questions about vocabulary and grammar. Starting another thread now could lead to confusing answers.
'Tip' is a more neutral word. 'Trick', in this context, suggests a short-cut, something a little out of the ordinary.
