    Software professional - English Teacher

    Hi,

I googled and found the correct forum to ask my question.

I am currently in IT industry with 10+ years experience in various IT domains. Of late, I am seriously planning to shift my career to teaching english. I had planned to work in IT for the next 6 years after which I wish to return to teaching english. Within the next 6 years, I had planned to enroll into M.A (Eng) and writing NET exam.

To all the English tutors, please let me know your comments about my career shift.

Please don't ask me why I am shifting my career. I have my options clearly cut out.

I know this is a weird career shift but not an uncommon one.

I assume that you have no worries about a serious reduction in income.
