Hi,

Are the following sentences natural to a native ear?

1. Do you have a sense for how much it will cost?

2. We had a party right at the heels of that announcement.

3. Maybe just a stupid question, but how could they possibly have tracked that kind of interaction?

Thanks,
MG.

1 I'd use Do you have an idea of how much...

2 This doesn't sound natural to me. How about right after the announcement

3 This may be a stupid question, but how could they possibly have tracked that kind of interaction?

What do you mean by interaction?

I suspect that Tdol knows the meaning of 'interaction'. He was asking what you meant by it in your sentence so that he could tell you whether it sounded natural. Without more context, I find it difficult to imagine tracking interaction.

Thanks.

I am sorry. A person was telling me about how the government tracked two companies fixing prices of their products. So I wanted to know how the goverment could have tracked their communication.
