What kind of verb is it?

Please correct my English if I have made a mistake.

I hope you have a nice day.
I hope I win the lottery.
He hopes to own a Ferrari one day.
They hope to go on holiday to Florida.
She hopes that she will get a new job soon.
It's difficult to hope for something when it's unlikely to happen.
It's easy to hope for something nice.
I think he's likely to hope for an A, but he'll probably get a B.
