    proposition and streets

    Hi,

I want to use this phrase but I don't know which proposition to use: "if you compare the prices of two houses in/on/at Elm street"
would my answer becomes different if instead of "Elm street" I want to use "the same street"

    Re: proposition and streets

As a speaker of BrE I would use 'in' for both. I hear 'on', even from speakers of BrE. 'at' is not possible.
