Are these sentences natural? September 7

    Hi,

Are the following sentences natural to a native ear?

    1. The free incoming period got over partway through the billing cycle.

    2. The salesman lied to me by omitting an important detail about the contract.

    3. I am trying to understand how he must feel after an exertion, given that he has already had two concussions.

    Thanks,
    MG.

No. Better to say: The free trial period ended midway through the current billing cycle.

    This is fine.

I am trying to understand how he must feel after physical exertion, since he has already suffered two concussions.

    Thanks Ouisch.

Better to say: The free trial period ended midway through the current billing cycle.
So 'midway' doesn't necessarily mean exactly at the mid point of the billing cycle, right?

Right. "Midway" means at some point around the middle of the billing cycle, but does not necessarily mean an exact date.
