    Cool Best commercial in Cinematography

What's the meaning of this expression in the following sentence:

"He won the prestigious Student Award for best commercial in Cinematography"

Does it mean he won the award for the best commercial?

Does it mean he won the prize for the best cinematography of a commercial?

    Quite a conundrum for me

    Thanks for your help

In what context did you read that sentence?

I can't find it on the web.
