Default Is there any difference in meaning?

    Hello,

Would you tell me if there is any difference in meaning
    between these two sentences?

    1. Once you've bought the item, we guarantee it for up to three months after.
    2. Once you've bought the item, we guarantee it for up to three months.

    'After' is unnecessary.

A guarantee of up to three months is pretty worthless, up to three months means from zero time to three months maximum.
