    sprawling - home

In his sprawling La Habra, Calif, home Ruben Fernandez is sorrounded by reminders of his late wife, Judy.
What do the adjectives sprawling and home mean in the sentence above?

Sprawling is the adjective describing his home, situated at La Habra, California.

A sprawling home is a big house with many rooms.

    Re: sprawling - home

Theoretically, it might only have one or two massive rooms, but if it's sprawling then it covers a lot of ground (square footage/meterage).
