How do you use its in a sentence? I know how to use it's, but can't think of a sentence with its. Thanks

Good question. Can you give me an example of how you use "it's", please?

It's is a contraction of the two words it is.

It's (It is) time to leave.

Its is a possessive pronoun meaning belongs to it. It is similar to his (belongs to him), hers(belongs to her), ours, yours and theirs. All of which are spelled without an apostrophe.

The dog has injured its (his) leg.
