    Default Language and Social class

    Hi,
    I am working on a chapter of a book for Language in Society class. I am supposed to give a presentation on a chapter aout Language and Social class. I am thinking about looking up some Auio files to ilustarte the idea. Can you help me please?

    Thanks tdol,Well, I could not find what I exactly need but still I will check agian and again. However, can we consider the level of education and the age as social differences? The other thing is that I wanted some Audio files! Will this be possible? I have three books already about language and social class...Thanks again.....Lolo

    Education is a factor in social difference- as most professions require higher education for entry, there is a direct link between education and social position. I'm less sure about age- there are older people of all soical groups, though those dependent on state pensions in the UK are becoming increasingly poor.
