    Cool I wrote /I've written a book

    Hello,

Can we use the Past simple and the Present Perfect interchangeably here, please?

"You know, I wrote/I've written a book about Human resources"?

    Thank you
    Will

You can use either but I would follow "I wrote" with some kind of timescale.

I've written a book about Human Resources.
I wrote a book about Human Resources last year.
