    Default Inversion

"The more institutionally unbounded a economy is , the more business the enterprises in that economy will do."

What inversion can we have for the underlined clause?
    1)SUBJECT OPERATOR INVERSION
"the more business will the enterprises in that economy do"
    2)SUBJECT VERB INVERSION
" the more business will do the enterprises in that economy

Or both are not the choices?

They both work for me. I suspect 1 is more common in speech and 2 is more common in writing, as intonation makes it easier to parse - recognizing the link between 'more business', 'enterprises', and 'do'.
