    Arrow 75 percent owned

    I was looking at news:

"International Automotive is owned 75 percent by Ross' WL Ross & Co. LLC and by Franklin Mutual Advisers LLC. The remaining 25 percent is owned by Lear Corp., according to its Web site. Its North American division now has about 17,000 employees, Ladd said."

Did somebody make a mistake with "is owned 75 percent by"? Maybe it should have been "is 75 percent owned by"?

"Is owned 75 percent by" is more typical/natural in a statement of that type.

    Re: 75 percent owned

I don't know whether this is personal or BrE, but 75 percent owned sounds more natural to me.
