    Like all new machines, it had a few teething troubles but it is working well now.

    This sentence means that the machines had some troubles at the

    beginning,but later it worked well.right?

    Actually, it wouldn't normally be used that way. It is used to refer to a project of some sort. Example:
    A: How is the project going?

    B: It is having teething problems. (It is having trouble getting started.)
