    Admission requirements

Could anyone explain to me what these admission requirements stand for?

The entry requirements for mature students at Harvard are:

    4 A*s (A Level)

    3 A*s (AS 2 Level)

Should get involved in sports, charity, or contributions.

    Thanks

    Re: Admission requirements

'A' Levels are the examinations taken in separate subjects by British young people at the age af 18/19. Those who wish to go to University take beteween three and five subjects normally. A* (A star) is the highest grade/mark you can obtain in these examinations.
