    tenses

    Which is correct:
    1-At my brother's English class, they are studing Hemingway this week.
    2-At my brother's English class, they study Hemingway this week.

    Generally, we don't use the simple present tense with a statement of time.

    In my brother's English class, they are studying Hemingway this week.
    In my brother's English class, they will be studying Hemingway this term.
    In my brother's English class, they are going to study Hemingway next year.

    Without a statement of time, showing regularity:

    In my brother's English class, they study Hemingway.
