    Default ....costs much higher....

    Dear all,

    Is this sentence correct ?

On the other hand, it cannot be denied that going to a boarding school costs much higher than ordinary day school.

    Many thanks

I would put 'going to' after 'more', but many people would not bother.

If you do want to keep "higher" in your answer, then you would need to say:

On the other hand, it cannot be denied that the costs of going to a boarding school are much higher than those of an ordinary day school.
