    Default using flash cards

I was wondering if it's more beneficial for children to teach flash cards with or without text written on it.
Im talking about young learners (up to 7 or so).

    Cheers,

    Default Re: using flash cards

Two words: early exposure. ABC cards, puzzles, and pictures have both pictures and letters. Symbols are a good thing, but the fact that they're there doesn't mean you have to teach the students how to read. Exposure is in itself enough.
