Question Do these books deal with a British or an American English?

    Hello,

    I wonder whether these books deal with British or American English.
    * Basic Tactics for Listening: Student Book

    http://www.amazon.com/Basic-Tactics-Listening-Student-Audio/dp/0194384519

* Touchstone Level 2 Student's Book

    http://www.amazon.com/Touchstone-Level-Students-CD-ROM-Touchstones/dp/0521666058

I'm into British Eglish, so, could you please suggest to me, as a student, some British Audio books ?

    Thank you in advance.

    Good luck

    Thank you so much for your reply.

    The majority of the audio books that I'd found deal with the American accent.I just want to focus on one accent.

    Regards,

    You are free to choose whatever you like. But this is my recommendation for you. Try not to get used to just one accent. If you want to understand any English as it's spoken, your ears must be accustomed to different accents and pronunciations. Do not make the same mistake as some of my students did.
    You can focus on just one specific accent but expect to hear various pronunciations.
    Wish you luck.

    Thank you so much teacher.
    Yes, truley one should be accustomed to the two accent. But what I meant is when I'm writing or speaking, I should not mix between the American and the British English

    Thank you for the advice.
    All the best,
