    is there different between limit / limits / limitation / restriction? can you give me some examples?

    There are so many differences between the terms you have provided that to list them all would take hours and hours.
    For a better understanding of synonyms, you may wish to consult a thesaurus (Thesaurus.com | Find Synonyms and Antonyms of Words at Thesaurus.com). These works of reference are extremely helpful and address the sort of question you have posed.
