    "What's the do?"

    Hello,

could you please tell me what "What's the do?" means?

    Best regards,

In colloquial British English, it is used to ask about the reason for a function, celebration, party, or similar. "Do" is slang for that type of event.

    Similar:

    "We're having a do for John's 50th birthday."
