    Question about quantity words

    Hi teachers,
Which term is better, 'quantity words' or 'quantity expressions' as a title for
'a lot of, lots of, many, some, a few, etc.'?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Rover,
Thank you for your reply. So they can't be called 'quantity expressions' or 'quantity words' at all then.

    Re: Question about quantity words

I suppose they could, but why do you want to use two words when the single, correct grammatical term is available?
