Which is correct...The company 'has' or 'have'? I read some where that even though a company is singular, but the verb thereafter must be treated as plural. I hope my question makes sense.

Welcome to the forum Nastybadboy. :hi: The question made perfect sense, and bhaisahab could answer with no problem. Your thread title was also relevant.

I believe that the singular verb form is preferred in AmE. Perhaps an American will confirm this.

Definitely in the US we would prefer the singular form of the verb.
