I have a couple questions about Gerund and indifities. I'm so confused how to use both of these above in English.
I'm going to San Diego city college right now.

I have a couple questions about Gerund and indifities.
NOT A TEACHER
(1) As the two teachers have told you, you can post any questions here about any
sentences that confuse you. Excellent teachers will answer you.
(2) You can go to the "search" box at the top of this page and type in "gerunds."
Then do the same for "infinitives." You should be able to find a lot of helpful
(3) Here are a few examples that I have made up. I hope that they are correct:
Gerunds ( words that end in -ing)
I love reading newspapers.
Reading newspapers is fun.
You can improve your English by reading newspapers.
Infinitives (usually there is a "to" in front)
I love to read newspapers.
Some people think that it is a waste of time to read newspapers.
My parents let me read the newspapers. (Sometimes, there is no "to")
