Default Pronunciation of "pre" in Prelude and Presentation

    Hi,

I would like to know if there is a difference
in pronunciation of prelude and presentation
    in BrE and AmE.

In AmE it sounds like this (sorry for not using dictionary notation).

    Prelude - praylude

Presentation - prezentation (as in 'preset')

This sounds strange because the word
'presentation' is derived from 'present' and
in 'present' it is pronounced differently.

I would apprecaite if you could tell me how it is
    pronounced in BrE.

    Thanks

Thanks Casiopea. I found this on m-w.com. I was not
able to copy-and-paste the dictionary notion from dictionary.com

    Pronunciation: 'prel-"yüd, 'prAl-; 'pre-"lüd, 'prA-; sense 1 also 'prE-"lüd

It thought the sound of 'pre' would be as in 'see' if the
meaning of 'pre' is 'before'. Apparently not.
