    take an inventory

    Hi

The author of a book advises that the reader should watch his behavior throughout the day.

At times take an inventory of your actions during the day and see if you have kept your determination.

Does "take an inventory" mean that I should write down on paper how I behaved the given day?

    Re: take an inventory

You don't necessarily write anything down. You could run a mental check.
