- For Teachers
Hi, everyone. My teacher has written a recommendation letter for me and I translated it into English. As I am not a native English-speaker, would you correct my mistakes?
Thank you for reading.
To Whom It May Concern,
I would like to take an opportunity to offer a formal recommendation for Elena. As the Chair of the Subdepartment of -\- I have known Elena for approximately three years and feel that she is a deserving candidate for your graduate program.
I was a project guide for her during two years in our institution. Elena will complete her specialist's degree from our school with excellent grades and now wants to further her educational qualifications by acquiring a graduate degree. She is an energetic, capable and purposeful girl, who would certainly go on and excel at whatever she does in her life.
The student of the Department of -\-, Elena has expressed interest in research and scientific work at the second year of education. I have witnessed her advance and development of skills for those two years of research. She took the initiative in writing a research project titled -\-, which she reported at the scientific conference among students.
Diligence, independence, resourcefulness and flexibility have always been her strong streaks. She is not afraid of difficulties when faced with the problem. She is well-organized, communicative, honest and open for cooperation. Elena takes the criticism with ease and diligently works on inaccuracies. During the research she has shown the advanced skills in the working with software, excellent knowledge of the international economics and mathematics, which was used in economic calculations. She is also widely used foreign languages in the analysis of literature for writing a research project, it was her competitive advantage in participating in the conference.
I know of Elena's continued interest in programs related to international economics and finance. I feel confident that she will continue to succeed in her studies. I believe the Masterís Program will give her an opportunity to deepen the knowledge of international economics and finance as well as the possibility of using the experience gained in the research work.
Elena continues to impress me with her knowledge, skills and dedication to her studies. Iím sure you will find her to be a student whose talents will only shine further through your graduate program. It is my hope that you will accept her admission to your university. Feel free to contact me if you require further information.
The Chair of the Subdepartment of -\-
