Hello, I am wondering if splet if grammatically correct for the past tense of spell. For example, "I splet the word incorrectly."

Also, is alright a word or is it only all right?

Welcome to the forum, ptooke.

The word you are looking for is spelt.

Look here for answers to your second question.

In future, please ask unrelated questions in separate threads and give them useful titles, like Past tense of 'spell' and Alright or all right?

***** NOT A TEACHER *****

I notice that your profile places you here in the States.

Therefore, it might be helpful to spell it as "spelled."
