    Default at points

While accents were not part of the original text, they are helpful for consistent pronunciation and may, at points, differentiate between two similar words.

    [not a teacher]

"at points" certainly means "At certain parts of the text", but if this text is being read aloud–and really, even if not aloud–it could also convey specific moments in time, depending on the context.
