    please check this letter

    Hello my friend Mr. Ali
How are you? How is the life in America? Really I miss you. I hope you are fine and every thing is okay. On Monday, November 7 2005, I, Ala’ and Sa’ed visited your family. We sat with your dad, your brother Rabee’, abu rashad and others. It was v. v. nice visit and we had the dinner there, and again we really missed you. Unfortunately, our circumstances in Gaza Strip are still v. bad, and the people here suffer a lot. Please take care of your study.
    Good bye.

If you'd like it to read a little more native-speaker-like, what about?

Our circumstances in the Gaza Strip are still very bad, and the people here suffer a lot because of it.

Please take care of yourself and study hard.
