    Default please proofread letter

Teacher, please proofread my letter. Thank you.

I will be leaving XX Company end of this month. I met with you in October of last year when I applied for a position at your company. I started work at XX Company end of October of last year. This job is not working out and the reason I am leaving is the long commute each day to and from work. I see that there is an opening at your company and I am interested to apply for it and I have attached my resume for your consideration.

I would have written "... at the end of October, last year."

Are you writing to the UK or the USA?
In England we use the Latin abbreviation, "CV", not "resumé".
