Please check the following sentence.

It rains almost every day and the rain made my trip more difficult to visit many places.

It rains almost every day and the rain makes my trip more difficult [STRIKE]to visit many places.[/STRIKE]

or

It rains almost every day and the rain makes [STRIKE]my trip[/STRIKE]IT more difficult to visit many places
Once you've said one thing about the trip (it's yours) you can't add 'to visit...'.

I've silently fixed the tenses, which I'm sure wasn't a real' mistake. ;-)

But, if you want 'rains...made' you could always introduce a 'has'. And, if you want to be really fancy - and talk about the constant trouble you've been having - you could say 'It rains almost every day and the rain has been making it more difficult...'

How about:

It rains almost every day here and that made it more difficult to visit many places.
