    Cool Re: Go

My friend uses an alarm clock and his cellphone to wake him up but when both alarms went off they still can't get him off his sleep.

Because when an alarm goes off, it rings.

    Re: Go

With an alarm clock, you could turn it off or stop it when it has woken you.

I remember there was a funny cartoon series. When the alarm clock sounded off, the man on the bed would be picked up by an automatic arm from nowhere. Then he would be brushed, washed and dressed. After all this had been done and the man was still sleeping, a wooden hammer would hit on him until he was wide awake. Tdol, maybe you can try to make one. Just kidding.
