    if the alarm clock went off, how could you say that "but ı couldnt wake up"
    maybe you can say "so ı couldnt wake up"
    "to go off means to be spoiled" ı think. Am ı false ???

    My friend uses an alarm clock and his cellphone to wake him up but when both alarms went off they still can't get him off his sleep.

    ok that's clear, but what about when the alarm dosen't ring? or rings then it's stopped, or turned off?

    With an alarm clock, you could turn it off or stop it when it has woken you.

    I think, this just be applied to the DIGITAL ALARM CLOCK. The alarm rings 5 times then it automatically goes off.
