    Which one of them is correct?

    I will never agree to your marriage to my father.

    I will never agree to you marrying my father.

    They are both correct.

    Also 'I will never agree to your marrying my father'.

    NOT A TEACHER



    Some super strict teachers say:

    (a) I will never agree to you marrying my daughter. = I do not like you. You would not be a good husband for

    my darling. Get lost, buddy! (Emphasis on "you.")

    (b) I will never agree to your marrying my daughter at this particular time. = I may love you to death, but I think

    that my darling is not yet ready to marry. Let's wait another year. (Emphasis on "marrying.")
