Hello Mr Wuu,
I have made a few suggestions below. Your essay was clear and logical, and despite what it may look like, there were no real major errors. Keep an eye on your pronouns and articles.
In the twenty-first century many couples have decided to have only one child. Some children feel good without
asiblings, others wish they had a brother or sister. What are the advantages and disadvantages of being an only child?
The main advantage is that parents are much more focused
abouton raising antheir only child. ItThe child is at the centre of their attention and itgenerates (maybe forms would be a better word here) a strong relationship with the parents. Moreover, parents do not have to spend money on any other children, and you areso the child gettinggets a larger share of the family income. Besides, an only child does not have to share a room or computer or other things. YouThey can do whatever they want, andanytime youthey want, and no one disturbs youthem.
lless (however may be a better word here), being an only child has adisadvantages too. The main one is that the child usually spends much time alone. Their characters become selfish and unsociable, and they itmight have aproblems withsocializing with society and people in their neighborhood (maybe just the people around them). Another disadvantage is that an only child ren areis under parentspressure from their parents. They do not have freedom of choice, or their own plans about the future. As a result they become dependent on their parents.
In conclusion, being an only child has as
samemany drawbacks andas advantages. I think the main role is played by the parents. It depends on them how they will grow upraise their only child or children.
