Question Customising the What's New section

Just wondered if there's a way to customise what I see in the "What's New" section. I go there fairly frequently but tend to find that half my screen is filled with post notifications from the "Fun and Games" forum. Given that I very rarely contribute or read that section of the forum, I'd prefer not to see the new post notifications. Can I choose which sections I see on What's New?

    Thanks.

I am afraid that I don't know of a way to do that.
