    Default Reopen the old wounds!

Are there any other alternatives for this expression?

    Much depends on the context.

We also generally say "reopen old wounds" or perhaps "reopen some old wounds" but we rarely use the definite article with that phrase. As 5jj said, coming up with an alternative would require context.

    Thank you very much.

Can we say: Rub old wounds to give the same meaning?

    I've never heard that, no.
