    military unit for offenders

    What do you call a unit for offenders in the Military? A Disciplinary battalion? Disciplinary barracks? Corrections brigade?

    I think different variants of English have different terms, and different branches of the military too.

    "Military prison" seems to be universally understood, but you might find this article helpful for other terms more specific to a country or branch of the forces:
