Default I had to post a new question several times

    Hello,

    Dear moderators,

Please don't think that I am posting one and the same question several times. I posted a new question, but as it still doesn't show up I decided to post it again.
Now my question. Is it better to use future simple instead of present progressive, be going to or other future forms in situations when you are not sure that something will or will not happen?
    Eg.,
I hope the weather will be be nice.
    I hope everyone will come.
She probably will stay till Thursday.
We think he will come home late in the night.

    Thanks

You posted it 34 mins ago. Have some patience. We are not servants at your beck and call, and half the teachers here are still in bed.

    Your thread is here: http://www.usingenglish.com/forum/as...tml#post864183
You can go to Quick Links and then click on "My Subscribed Threads" to find your posts.
Usually I would merge the two threads, but intead I will lock this one and further discussion can take place on the other thread.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
