Default How is it safe to fly / How safe is it to fly?

How is it safe to fly?

How safe is it to fly?

Are the both grammatically correct and same in meaning?

They're not the same and the first is a rather unlikely question.

    Hi emsr2d2,

Did you mean "I travel on board by an aeroplane."?

    No.

Ems meant what she said: '
I travel on board an aeroplane'.

If you prefer: 'I travel on an aeroplane'.
